The Anguria Reggiana grows in compact and yet deep, fresh, and permeable terrains, from which it takes its sweet flavour and diuretic properties.
It is rich in vitamin C, useful to fight free radicals and with antioxidant properties, such as lycopene and beta-carotene, which seem to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal and prostate cancer.
A watermelon slice may not only refresh and quench, but also restore lost mineral salts and in addition it can provide energy due to the presence of simple sugar and maintain high immune defense thanks to its antioxidants.
