Novellara Valleys
In the past, the entire northern portion of Novellara country was occupied by extensive marshes and riverbeds. The great reclamation works have progressively dried up the marshes but still today the landscape shows that ancient dominion of the waters.
The area of the "Valli di Novellara" is characterized by a dense network of canals, ditches and small basins used for hunting and fishing.
A CAI path in the plains allows trekking enthusiasts to walk in the Novellara and Reggiolo valleys starting from the Pastore bridge. A path that winds a little more than 20 meters above sea level.
